The beautiful streetscape of Aoyama-dori was born from collaboration between our faculty and the government

Did you know that Aoyama dori, a street frequently walked by students and faculty members commuting to Aoyama Campus, has undergone an exponential transformation into a more beautiful street? Professor Norio Iguchi, who was born and raised near Aoyama Campus, lobbied the national government and requested cooperation from local governments, evolving it into a beautiful, scenic street that can be proud of on a global scale. We spoke to Professor Iguchi and Director Honda of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's Tokyo National Highway Office about the long journey, present and future.

I came to Aogaku to be the best.

On March 14, 2024, the 2023 "Student Awards" and "Alumni Association Awards" ceremonies were held to recognize students and groups who have achieved outstanding results in academics and extracurricular activities. Library Building Completion Commemoration Project Part 2: Looking Back at the Architecture of "Maclay Memorial Hall"

The library building, "Maclay Memorial Hall," opened in April 2024. "Exercise and diet can change your body" from Aogaku Fitness Center

"Muscle" x "nutritional balance" has been gaining attention in recent years, and is of great interest to Aogaku. "Fitness" refers to exercise to maintain and improve health. We will thoroughly introduce the appeal of our university's Fitness Center (hereinafter referred to as AGU FC). Aogaku can use the center any time during opening hours and on opening days for a year, with a registration fee of 3,000 yen per year (2,000 yen for athletic association students).

Library Building Completion Commemoration Project: The First Project: "Maclay Memorial Hall"

Aoyama This year marks the 150th anniversary of the founding of the institute and the 75th anniversary of the opening of Aoyama Gakuin University. The construction of the library building was positioned as part of the 150th anniversary celebration of the institute, and the library building "Maclay Memorial Hall" was opened in this memorable year. The facility is named in honor of the first Chancellor Robert S. McRae, who founded the Mihai Theological Seminary, one of the three origins of the Aoyama institute.

Scientific research can change the world!

Talking about training "local sports instructors"

2023 Academic Excellence Awards

The Academic Excellence Award is given to students enrolled in each faculty or graduate school who are in their second year or above and who are recognized as having excellent academic performance in the previous year. The award includes a plaque and a prize. In the 2023 academic year, 290 students were awarded the award.
